Middlesex University London
The most important information about the university
Middlesex University London gained university status in 1992, but its history dates back over 100 years ago. The university was established as a result of the transformation of the polytechnic – Middlesex Polytechnic into a university, which in turn was created by the gradual consolidation of several schools and colleges operating in the area, including a teachers’ college, an art school, and a technical school. After its transformation into a university, the institution closed down the campuses scattered throughout London and retained only one in Hendon. From the beginning, it actively sought international cooperation, opening regional offices in various countries and eventually campuses as well. In 2005, it established its campus in in Dubai, and in 2009 in Mauritius, and 2013 in Malta – students of selected courses have the opportunity to spend part of their studies at one of these campuses.London
