    Middlesex University London is a public university located in Hendon, a northwest district of London, which is considered one of the best student cities according to the QS Best Student Cities 2018 international ranking. The university is known for its modern and practical approach to education (its motto is ‘Practical. Forward thinking. Inclusive.’), as well as its exceptional openness to international students. Within its walls, representatives from 140 countries are educated, and the university itself has campuses in Malta, Dubai, and Mauritius.

    Middlesex University London gained university status in 1992, but its history dates back over 100 years ago. The university was established as a result of the transformation of the polytechnic – Middlesex Polytechnic into a university, which in turn was created by the gradual consolidation of several schools and colleges operating in the area, including a teachers’ college, an art school, and a technical school. After its transformation into a university, the institution closed down the campuses scattered throughout London and retained only one in Hendon. From the beginning, it actively sought international cooperation, opening regional offices in various countries and eventually campuses as well. In 2005, it established its campus in in Dubai, and in 2009 in Mauritius, and 2013 in Malta – students of selected courses have the opportunity to spend part of their studies at one of these campuses.

In turn, the London Complete University Guide ranked the university in second place on the list of the most modern universities in London.     Admission requirements

    The university is known for its openness to international students, and detailed information regarding admission requirements for candidates from specific countries can be found on its official website. The specific requirements vary depending on the chosen course, but the general requirements for undergraduate studies for students from Poland are as follows:

    • overall matura result – minimum 60%.
    • English language grade on the matura exam: for the basic level – 65% in the oral part and 75% in the written part, and for the extended level – 60%.

    Funding for studies – scholarships and loans
