What will I study?
Do you want to have your own business? Do you want to know how to build a great company that will flourish even in the most trying economic conditions? If you have a business idea, we'll equip you with the knowledge and abilities to make it a reality.
This four-year Business and Enterprise BA (Hons) with Foundation Year in Business degree offers a different entry point into higher education and is made for potential students who might not have the necessary or pertinent academic preparation for university education.
You will take courses to assist you in advancing your academic abilities and self-belief during the integrated Foundation Year in Business. You'll also learn about essential ideas, arguments, and abilities that will support and inform your second, third, and fourth years of undergraduate degree studies.
Through case study analysis, lectures, workshops, and student-led activities, you'll learn business aims, practices, and concepts. You'll examine the logistics of the supply chain, project management, production, business organisation, and human resources and management fundamentals.
You'll understand how to create a business plan, forecast financial data, show and sell your ideas, locate customers and clients, as well as expand your company into foreign markets.
A significant consulting assignment in your final year will also provide you the chance to acquire the entrepreneurial qualities that larger organizations are looking for. You'll collaborate with other students on fresh company concepts while applying your growing business expertise to produce reports, consulting, and suggestions.

Funding & Fees
Funding for your studies
All of the students will receive Student Finance which means that you don't need to pay anything.
Tuition Fee Loans
Your tuition fees are paid using a tuition fee loan. This is given to your University or College directly. Only once you have completed your study and are making at least £26,575 per year do loan repayments begin. Students who study full- or part-time may apply
Maintenance Loans
To pay for living expenses, you can also apply for a Maintenance Loan if you qualify. This loan is deposited straight into your bank account. After you complete your degree and earn more than £26,575, your maintenance loan is due. Please visit www.gov.uk/studentfinance for additional details.
Maintenance Grants
Additionally, you can apply for a Maintenance Grant to assist with living expenses. At the beginning of the term, maintenance grants are deposited straight into your bank account. Although you are not required to pay them back, any money you get will lower the amount of the Maintenance Loan you might be eligible for should you decide to apply for one as well.
