    In the beginning, think about what interesting you can tell about yourself in such a letter and why the university authorities should choose you. It is also very important to emphasize why do you want to study in the UK and how long have you been interested in the field you are applying for. Maybe there’s something behind it the point, it’s worth telling?

    Finally, a few more important rules:

    • the cover letter should be between 3000 and 4000 characters without spaces,
    • write the truth,
    • write succinctly, clearly, and on the subject, with no repetition,
    • focus on the positives – instead of writing that you don’t like the Polish education system, emphasize that you like the way of teaching in Great Britain,
    • avoid trivial and often general formulations, and instead focus on specifics,
    • use rather simple sentences and don’t go for a flowery tone.

    After writing your Personal Statement, do not forget to check it for spelling, grammar, and punctuation mistakes, it is best to ask someone who speaks English well and ask them to check the letter for language and content.
